Split Rail Links & Golf Club
Rated 4 stars by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” for 2009, Split Rail Links & Golf Club pays magnificent homage to the rich traditions of the birthplace of golf through its Scottish theme. The dramatically thrilling par 72, 7,353-yard links-style course was designed by Phil Lumsden with influence from some of the characteristics of the great courses in Scotland.
Offering a perfect balance of strategy and playability, the course features 419 Bermuda grass fairways, framed by an abundance of bunkers and mounds of tall fescue. The Champion’s Dwarf Bermuda Greens will have you testing your imagination.
While tough enough to test scratch golfers, five sets of tees enable golfers of all abilities to enjoy this unique design. Among the numerous tournaments held at Split Rail Links & Golf Club were the Texas Golf Association Mid-Amateur Qualifier in 2008, 2011, and 2013, the US Senior Amateur Qualifier in 2008, 2010, and 2011, the 2009 US Amateur Qualifier, the 2014 U.S. Senior Open Qualifying, the 2015 U.S.Open Qualifying, and the Texas Golf Association Mid Amateur 2016.

Please note:
- Prices include half cart and tax.

Golf Course Policies
- Dress Code
- The dress code applies to Members and guest(s) and pertains to use of golf facility. Shirts with a collar, mock neck or turtlenecks are required. Soft spikes or tennis shoes are required. no cutoffs or warm-up suits will be permitted.
- Course Closing
- The golf course and practice facility are closed on Monday, except for holidays that fall on Monday. The course is also closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. The Club may also be opened on Monday due to tournament scheduling.
- Golf Carts
- Each driver is expected to use good judgment and is responsible for the operation of the cart to prevent damage done to the golf course or to the car. Any driver of a golf cart is entirely responsible for any damage done to the golf course or golf cart and will be required to reimburse Split Rail in full. Drivers are expected to observe golf cart rules, such as: keep carts on path around tees and greens, do not proceed past cart signs in par 4 and par 5 fairways, carts remain on the path on all par 3's, and do not drive carts in native grass areas or on mounds. Check with the golf shop for golf cart return times in the evening. Walking the golf course is permitted, however pull carts are not allowed. Minimum age requirement for a member is 16 (for non-members it is 18) and the driver must have a valid driver license.
- Service
- The Club abides by the liquor laws of the State of Texas and does not serve liquor to persons under the age of 21. Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission prohibits alcoholic beverages from being brought onto or taken off the premises of Split Rail.
- Etiquette on Course
- Please allow faster players through when possible and always try to keep up with the pace of play. Members may play up to 5 players in a group, but are required to keep pace with groups in front of them. Members making tee times for two may be paired with other members when the course is busy. Non-Members are limited to four in a group.
- Tee Time Reservations
- Tee times can be made up to 7 days in advance by phone or in person with preferred treatment over daily fee play. Walk-ups are welcomed, but it is a good idea to call ahead so that you may secure a time.
